Partnering to Bring Hope

Throughout 2022, we at Hope for Families, were blessed with the cooperation of another ministry who came alongside us to bless the families of our girl’s club program.

Filter of Hope is an organization that provides free water filtration systems to families in dire need of clean drinking water in 70 countries around the world.  Through the providence of God, we were connected to Filter of Hope in El Salvador.  After hearing what we, at Hope for Families are doing in El Salvador, they offered to donate filters to the families of all of our girls club participants.

For us, as a ministry, we are always looking for opportunities to share the truth of the good news of Christ to those with whom God has given us an open door.  When we heard that Filter of Hope’s mission is not ONLY to provide clean drinking water, but to give the Water of Life…. well, we were IN!

Together, Hope for Families and Filter of Hope made a plan to meet in each community and invite the families of our girls to come and receive a high-quality water filtration system.  All they had to contribute, was a 5-gallon bucket.

What a blessing to see the joy on the faces of those who participated in these events. We take for granted the access we have to clean, safe drinking water. And, I believe we take for granted the access we have to solid biblical, transformational teaching. In each distribution, the FOH staff shared their personal stories alongside the hope of the good news of the gospel. We rejoiced to see many who responded to the opportunity to drink of the Living Water.   

We are so grateful for the sweet service of the staff of Filter of Hope.  They truly loved our people well.  They gave them the BEST GIFT EVER.  Not only clean water to drink, but, the Living Water that wells up to eternal joy! Thank you, Filter of Hope!
