Come Make a Difference
So far this year we have had two groups come and serve here at Hope House. We were able to accomplish some good things to improve the home. First, we had a team come and beautify the terraces on the house. They spent time cleaning and painting, making both areas a prettier place for the young women in the home to hang out and study.
Also, this year we completed one of our first renovation projects in the home. In the large bathroom upstairs, we added a shower and toilet to accommodate the needs of the ladies in the two bedrooms that will be using that bathroom. At the same time, we had a small group come and improve the water system in the house. We have always had issues with water pressure, so the team added a second pressure tank and ran new water lines to the top floor. This has really helped us to have more consistent pressure throughout the whole house.
